The Rail Bridge was constructed in 1889 by the firm of McDermott & Sons, on the Wandong-Bendigo Line, for the Victorian Railways. It is a 26-span, timber trestle bridge, with a timber deck that carries a single track over Mollison's Creek. The line was closed in 1968 and the track and timber sleepers have been removed. The McIntyre's Creek Bridge at Tabor is a single track 23 span rail bridge built for the Penshurst-Hamilton Railway in 1890 to a standard Victorian Railways fifteen feet transverse-deck timber-beam design. The deck length is 105 metres, and maximum height is 3.66 metres. All timber piers are of the original vertical-two-pile design, each having two simple cross-braces. This bridge, over the Latrobe River, formed part of the Traralgon-Maffra-Stratford Railway, which was opened as far as Heyfield on 13 November 1883. It was built by contractors Lewis P. Moline & James King for the Victorian Railways in 1882-3 and is the third-oldest substantial timber-beam railway bridge surviving in Victoria.
